Walk over to the three historical markers located near the intersection of E 60th Street and Manchester Trafficway at 5951 Manchester Trafficway, Kansas City, MO 64130. This stop’s marker is the northernmost marker of the three at this location. The other two markers will be covered at Tour Stop 15.
This marker provides information about the ongoing activities by the Monnett Battle of Westport Fund to restore and interpret the Big Blue Battlefield. Installation of this marker was made possible by a generous donation from the Jeff Hill and Kris Downing Family Foundation.
