The next tour stop is a historical marker located near the intersection of E. Meyer Boulevard and Wabash Avenue. The Historic Harrisonville Road generally followed present-day Prospect Avenue. After withdrawing from the defenses at Byram’s Ford, Maj. Gen. John S. Marmaduke’s command retreated down this road.
