Are you confused about what was the offical national flag of the Confederate States of America? Here's a link to a YouTube video called, Vexillology and the Confederate Flag, featuring Dr. Thomas G. Clemens of Hagerstown Community College.

Vexillology is the scholarly study of flags. Dr. Thomas G. Clemens of Hagerstown Community College teaches us that we may not know as much about the Confederate Flag as we think. Here's a short (about 6 minutes) video called, Vexillology and the Confederate Flag, that will explain several different flags used by the Confederacy in the 1860s.
